"China Clipper" struggled through two winters for me and then died shortly after coming up this spring. It never showed much growth. It might be fine in the South but for me, it was a disappointment.

The first of these is a bud count that can exceed 70, but is typically about 40, and the second is the circular form often times missing in some of the current purples
