Guadalupe Oak

This hybrid Oak(Q. macrocarpa x stellata) naturally occurs in scattered areas where the 2 species grow in close proximity here in Eastern...Read More Kansas. This tree is much more adaptable and faster growing than Post Oak(Q. stellata) while having smaller acorns, thick glossy leaves, and good red-purple fall colors like(many) Post Oak. It's also very drought tolerant and would be a good tree for parking lot strips or other hot droughty situations. Although seedlings I've cultivated also seem to grow very well in average to moist garden areas.
