It grows NEAR water, but SEEMS to get no water in summer unless its roots go DEEP.....
It has red berries that pucker your mouth dreadfully, but if you juice the berries and add sweetner, they make awesome jelly...
We have some seeds we will be trying to start this fall, near a pond at 1400 ft zone 8...
