Witch hazels vary in a couple of important aspects: flower color and fragrance. Pretty much all witch hazels are going to land in the yellow, orange, and red ranges - though there are a few that extend to purple and pink. Fragrance ranges from zero to an outstanding "what is that I smell, and I must have it when I find it" reaction.
'Orange Encore' provides curled petals of golden yellow with a brown red calyx, giving a light orange overall color effect. It is not particularly fragrant here.
