It made it through the unusually cold winter of 2015 without any damage. I've been limbing it up, gradually, to shape it into a small tree. It is a lovely red, a tidy shape, and I look forward to having it in a large container in the garden. It originated in the United States around 1960, so it shouldn't be patented anymore.
