It overtops and strangles 15m tall trees. It is a really cruel vine. It is not even that pretty to begin with, with its inconspicuous small white flowers. Leaves are thin, like leafy vegetables. I am not sure why this plant was introduced here. There is nothing beautiful about it.
It is a lot like Cardiospermum halicacabum, only that this one is "grander" (hence 'grandiflorum'), which means bigger and grows very large - Indeed it does, where it reaches 20-30m in height.
TLDR; Avoid it like the plague. This plant eats and covers all other plants around it (including big trees), and it isn't even that pretty to begin with.
