The stems tend to sprawl, and the clump reaches 40" across. Foliage is green, not bronze.
Like most geraniums, this performs well in sun to part shade, but does not do well in heavy shade. Though in the wild it is often found in marshes, it also does well in ordinary garden conditions.
Long cultivated in English gardens, it's also generally considered weedy there.
