Woodland strawberry

I bought my plants from White Flower Farm in 2002. They are the cutest little plants for edging you ever saw! They do not send out runner...Read Mores; they are strictly clumping. You can dig and divide in the spring or fall if you want more plants. They bloom and make their sweet, soft, little berries all summer and fall as long as there is enough moisture. (Just make sure to put out slug bait if you want to eat the fruit!) They are fairly drought tolerant and grow happily in my sticky clay soil. They are my favorite edging plants.
