This was originally purchased by Joan and Robert Grout from the nursery of Mary Mottram as G. endressii 'Album'. However, it proved such a superior plant that it was suspected of being a hybrid. Peter Yeo confirmed that it was a hybrid between G. endressii and G. sylvaticum 'Album'.
So this is G. x oxonianum 'Mary Mottram.'
