This was a disappointment for me. It...Read More was promoted as a giant hybrid (to 12'tall!) , and it is distinctly taller and bigger than T. rochebrunnianum. But the flowers are much smaller, less intensely colored, and much less showy. The purple sepals are small and make less impact than the cream-colored stamens.
The foliage is attractive.
It's been longer-lived for me than T. rochebrunnianum, but I find the flower display is much less impressive. I haven't observed seedlings.
