Love the bright yellow variegated leaf coloring, and the contrast with the deep rose/pink ...Read Moreblooms. Planted in 2010 in zone 5b. Survived the winter, but has a spindly growth habit, not a nice form like my 'Wine and Roses' cultivar. I've seen the same irregular growth habit online when searching for pics of this cultivar online.

In 2010, I had mine in full sun, but recently moved it to an area with a little more shade, but never had any problems with scorching despite recommendations to provide this one with some afternoon shade. We have rich black compacted somewhat clayish soil.

I moved mine this year, so will withhold a final opinion until further notice. But for the interim, don't anticipate a similar full growth habit to 'Wine and Roses' with this one. Seems to grow up and then out, and needs a haircut later in the growing season.
