I pl...Read Moreanted in the spring, and it was small and little blooming for a long time...then fall hit, the weather cooled, and it's exploded! Lot of white blooms with creamy yellow middles. I'm guessing our hot summer slowed growing. I'm hoping it will come back next year bigger than ever.
Note - the tiny blossoms are fragile and will fall off if hit with too strong a hose spray. Better off with gentle watering, probably a soaker hose is best to keep the blooms longer.
The unripe fruit of this species is toxic to humans. The foliage is toxic to many animals if ingested.
