Not only did it grow exponenti...Read Moreally, but it flowered daily with bright pink blooms that opened only when the sun was shining. The blooms look identical to purslane. Then Winter hit, and we had an early freeze, and then a couple more freezes, and this plant survived it all! I threw a sheet over it and my other potted plants ALMOST every time it froze, and it made it through, unlike many of the other plants. It's still going strong, and I just bought a second one today in a pale pink variety, and hopefully that one will do just as well. Propagate by collecting seeds from the spent dried heads, or by rooting a cutting in water or peat moss. Very easy! It also only needs watering every few days, even in our heat, and can tolerate full sun or partial shade. Whatever you throw at it! I haven't tried full shade only because it needs the sunshine for it to bloom. A+!
