VSC Note: "We ...Read Morehave obtained a seed sample but it was old and we did not get seeds to germinate for the 2002 growing season. We will try procedures to improve germination probability and try again in 2005. Additionally, we obtained seed samples from NSSL and the New England PI Station as well as from Dr. Carolyn Male."
"May properly be termed "A Red Globe". Has strong, healthy plants that show no signs of blight. Globe shaped fruits of medium size; bright scarlet; firm flesh. About the same season as Bonny Best. Fruit clusters are set closely on stalk, making increased yield under glass. 63 days."
