The 'Wolong variety has larger leaves which I think is more attractive, also which survived the unsually cold winter we had....(several nites in the single digits)

He told me this particular bamboo is tolerant of full sun here in Oregon and showed me hundreds of them growing in full sun with great color and vigor. He did say that in full sun they reach slightly less height than in partial shade.
He also told me his are planted in our heavy clay soil with organic mulch on top and all appear to be thriving.
"Green Screen" is a trademark for Fargesia robusta 'Ping Wu'. It is not a cultivar name.
