It is easily distinguished by its white leaf margins bearing white curly threads, and especially its much-branched flower stalk, which may rise to 9 feet above the 2-foot-tall, usually asymmetrical rosette.
Glen Rose Yucca is on the Watch List as a TOES V species, having either low population numbers or a restricted range in Texas.
This specimen was found growing at a nature preserve in Arlington, Texas.
