The blooms are verry pretty and I like to keep several so I have one for cooking and other to let bloom. You have to cut the blooms if you want to cook with it or it gets stiff and useless. Also cut the bloom if you dont wish it to seed. I have had no luck on collecting seeds. They seem to wait till my back is turned. :)
