I got my plant in May of 2012 and it "still hasn't bloomed but has become more drough...Read Moret tolerant since it is better established...still really slow to grow...still waiting!" It never gets more water than whatever rain it gets and it gets full afternoon sun in South Florida. It has gotten really big but no blooms!

Finally got a few blooms in February of 2014 . They were amazing!

Everytime I look at it after a few days of no water (sprinklers or rain) it is weeping and have to let the hose drip on it for a few hours before it recovers. It seems to recover promptly without issue, mine receives afternoon sun for a moderate amount of time 6 hours before it gets shaded by a neighboring tree. Hoping for blooms this coming year.
