The breeders, Marty Schafer and Jan Sacks, have written:
"Full, round, ruffled form in a small flower with terrific substa...Read Morence. The flower appears white but is actually diamond dusted with pale lavender. White signals with pale green veining and tiny red-violet freckles near the hafts.
"Three buds per stalk with repeat bloom."
Note that with Siberian irises, rebloom means additional flower scapes rise in early summer shortly after the first flush of blooms. Unlike tall bearded irises, there is no fall rebloom.

Schafer-Sacks irises have won many awards, including 7 of the last 9 Morgan-Woods Medals, the highest award given to a Siberian iris by the American Iris Society.
