It is very healthy and has grown about three inches / 7-8 centimeters taller and 8-10 inches / 20-25 centimeters wider. I will repot it this spring, when I find the right ceramic pot for it.
Like other Acer japonicums, it has a nice layered look to the branches and leaves.
