I pair them with purple majesty as a thriller, the coleus as a filler, and the potato vine as a spiller. The purple and chartreuse of the coleus looks smashing with the other plants. They all seem to have the same water requirements.
This is a strong grower for me, almost to the point of being a weed!

This is a year round flowerer throwing many seeds that if I do not remove will grow wild in every container it falls into.
The older and more flowers this throws the uglier it can get. This plant is subjected to black mold and removing these leaves and/or throwing out the plant will control this.
Seeds are found in most stores and very,very easy to grow, inside anyways! I aloud seeds from the flowers to get away from me in the plant room and had to gave hundreds of sprouts and plants away as well as throwing them away.
Cuttings will root in water,or just thrown on the ground. These do real well in high humidity with daily watering, and if neglected will droop only to spring back to life as soon as water is added. Watch for root rot.
They do not like cold temps but do good and flower in another spot I have that in natural light with on a small florescent light helping. The third spot of mine is the bathroom.
I do grow these in three different areas IE atmospheres. They flower in every one of my growing spots indoors.
I have never grown this as anything but a house plant though we are going to try and group these together outside and see how they do?
It is reported to have "drug" type properties, medical? Like most house plants keep out of the reach of small children,critters........
