Plants did not develop fungus or rot and grew well....Read MoreThey produced an average number of large smooth, excellent flavored tomatoes around 1 pound each. They did not have the customary wrinkles and gnarled appearance of other Beef Steaks. The second year, I bought them, but they were just plain old wrinkled gnarled beefsteaks. I think the supplier saved his own seeds that had crossed, or subtituted another tomato.
