Lavandula, English Lavender 'Royal Velvet'

The place I bought it from says it blooms once in late spring/early summer but here in Las Vegas it blooms twice...once in May/June and again in September/October. It is a very nice looking plant even when it is not blooming. It has a nice smell and does make a pretty dried flower. With my limited desert gardening experience, this is the only small plant that I have used that grows quickly and fills in a space but does not become invasive. It does all of its spreading in the spring. I can't think of a single complaint about this plant.
