My garden has a fairly short growing season and these squash always mature, even when planted mid June. Ideally, I plant early June. They are carefree - plant and pick, and produce about 15 fruits per plant. They do take up a lot of room, as any other squash. They last very well in an unheated but freeze-proof room. It is difficult to find seeds.
No disease or insect problems.
