T...Read Morehe leaves are a LIGHTER GREEN than the typical Boston Ivy, making it always look fresh. It is NOT as colorful in the Fall. It leafs out very early in Spring. Same growing conditions as typical Boston Ivy. I have been very pleased with it and will never plant any other vine for full sun/partical shade. I have been able to control growth upwards by just gently pulling it off house or fence with a rake and just letting what pulls off hang loose, or if I can reach it, I clip it off. The bear vines in winter make a beautiful pattern on house or fence.
