It's a bit pushy, and has killed some of my geranium 'Brookside.' It works very well with anemone 'Robustissima' due to consecutive bloom time, and their ability to stand up to one another. With other companions it is well worth the time to moniter and yank it out if it tries to take over. I also have the species. 'Alpenglow' has a much longer period of bloom. It usually is quite rabbit and deer resistant.
