"Goshen Calico" is classified as an Informal Decorative type, with red and yellow variegated color pattern. Most of our blooms have been in the "B" range (6-8 inches) but I note that it is classified as on the border of "B/A" which means some must get blooms in the 8-10 inch range. We did not prune away side stalks or blooms, preferring instead to have more (if slightly smaller) blooms and have been pleased with the relative abundance of production. (We've gotten multiple mature blooms from each plant, with many more buds on the way and it shows no signs of stopping). The bright variegated color pattern makes it a nice cut flower as it will blend with an array of reds, yellows, and oranges (among others) in a vase or arrangement.
