A is not as large as some other varieties of Erysimum it is best kept towards the mid or front of your bed/border for best appreciation of the flowers and their perfume
grow well in ordinary soil providing it is free draining and in a sunny location. If growing in a container be sure to use a good quality potting mix. In garden beds it is recommended to mulch around the plant to reduce water loss during dry periods as well as keeping weeds at bay. In the garden an application of slow release fertiliser will also be most beneficial during early spring whilst those grown in containers will need more frequent feeds according to the manufacturers instructions.
A light prune after main flower flush will help promote vigour as well as a neat shape.
A fabulous plant I have it growing with my pink muhly grass and sedums it lends an airy prarie look for the drier part of my garden.

I pruned this plant back to the ground last fall (by accident) and it has come back with an early bloom, and is going thru it's 2nd flush. I't really has handled some poor soil conditions with minimal fertilizer. and remains in a neat mound.
