Taken on 10th February 2008. A male tried to attract his mate to a Blue Tit nest box, but she wasn't interested or didn't like my presence. My garden, near Lincoln UK.

They have a black bib on the throat, and are more common than similar Marsh or Willow Tit. This has a grey back and white down the back of the head.

Taken on 12th December 2007, sat on an Oak tree. At first glance it looks like a small Great Tit.

On 4th October, a Coal Tit above the peanuts with a Great Tit to the right, and a Blue Tit hanging off the feeder. It's size is closer to a Blue Tit, smaller than a Great Tit.
