On 6th January 2008, in a nearby Oak tree. It spent some time taking off young buds, one can be seen in it's beak. They are adept at making 'tools' to help them get food.

On 5th February, a pair in a neighbour's old capped chimney, they seemed to be able to go inside out of sight.

On 18th June I took some pics through my window as this mature bird filled it's gullet with soaked muesli, then collected as much as it could hold to take away.

It came as a bit of a surprise when an apparently young Jackdaw came flapping it's wings asking for food, I was more used to seeing dainty little birds do that!

Junior discovered, if it tried hard, it could manage to take tiny pieces of food but this was something new to him/her.
