Ambush Bug found in my garden eating a green fly. Chelmsford, Massachusetts - He is staying on the same flower - next morning too.

Small predatory assassin bug with a big appetite. Hides well and ambushes prey.

They are experts at camoflauge. See how this one resembles goldenrod. It is as small as a goldenrod bloom. They wait for prey then grab them and impale them with their poisonous beak.
