Lat year, I was trying to take a night photo of one of my larkspur plants. As I pushed the shutter button on my camera down, inbetween the first flash and the second flash, seemingly out of nowhere came a white lined sphinx (Hyles lineata) headed for a bloom. It was captured in the photo. I disregarded the photo because the moth was not in focus. Now, the photo appeals to my sense of artistry.

We saw this hummingbird-like critter in our flower garden and had to get some pictures. After watcing it for a while I thought it must be some type of moth. It looks like NC has them too!

We live in Ludington, MI. I had never seen a hummingbird Moth before and like most, thought they were baby hummingbirds at first. I had 7 of these at one time on my butterfly bush right before dark
