Taken on 16th July 2008, Lincoln UK. Wingspan 15-18mm, flying between June and August. Easily confused with other species, see notes.

Quite common in the UK, it can be found in gardens, farmland and open places. They are attracted to light. Larvae feed on a range of herbaceous plants.
