Taken on 16th July 2008, Lincoln UK. Wingspan 25-33mm, colour varies from pale, ochreous-yellow to dark brown. Easily recognised by the markings from other British Cosmia species.

The larvae feed on a range of deciduous trees, and can seek out other caterpillars to eat!
