Taken on 30th July 2008, Lincoln UK. It was secretive, hiding in the corner, I noticed it hit the window but it didn't stay for long.

Taken on 1st August 2008. A rare form, not normally found in the wild. They were bred by early collectors to obtain unusual colour forms. Thanks to Simon of Back Garden Moths for confirmation.
