Taken on 27th July 2008, Lincoln UK. This was huge, wingspan 65-90mm, on the higher side of that.

The forewing is shorter, with a rusty red colour showing, this is not full expanded.

The body is strongly curved and very fat!

Backs of the antennae are rusty red. The fat furry thing coming from the face is it's front leg! It's eye is between the antenna and leg.
