08/27/06 - Giant Swallowtail looking for a sip in the afternoon heat. The first stop was for a brief rest on a Honeysuckle vine allowing me a few shots like this one.

08/27/06 - Giant Swallowtail M or F? The markings are just about identical - the shape of the abdomen might be a clue, or behavior. Generally it's the male swallowtails that "puddle" like this.
