Tomato Horn Worm eating on an onion clipping from my compost pile. He was on my tomato plant, until I pruned some of the plant back and put it in the compost pile.

One of 4 tomato hornworms removed from tomato plant 2 wks ago. The others grew large and have left their new "home“ (under tree house). This one has wasp larvae, eats very little, and has not grown.

Sitting on the deck one evening this large insect flew past. The next night it came back to feed from the Cleome's and I managed to photograph it, and was surprised it was so colorful.

Found a tomato hornworm on a tomato plant June2016 pulled him off and fed him tomatoes until he buried himself in the dirt in the bottom of the glass container
