Taken 5th May 2006. There was two so I assume a male and female, not seen before or since. I may see their offspring.

Showing the pattern on reverse of the wing. It fed on lathyrus vernus in my garden, preferring the purple form.

Taken 14th April 2007. The orange tip is visible from the under wing when the forewing is extended upwards.

With wings folded down the green and white pattern under the tip edge of the forewing marry up with the hind wing under.
