These snail appear to have 3 pairs of tentacles. The top pair are eye stalks. The middle pair are tentacles. The bottom pair are actually lips.

The eye stalks are completely retractable into the body.

On the right you can see the black eye spot on the eye stalk. On the left, the eye stalk is being retracted, the eye always goes first.

This one was so big, at first we thought it was a sea shell from the nearby beach.
