Taken on 22nd November 2008, Lincoln UK/ This is the only Pillbug in the British Isles, it can grow to 18mm long. This one was on a pot I had brought inside for winter.

This one had trouble uprighting itself once on it's back, although it had initially rolled in a ball. Very similar to a Pill Millipede, which has 17-19 pairs of legs as opposed to 7 pairs.

This was quite large and very black, at first I thought it was a Pill Millipede until I checked the closer shields at tail end and the number of legs.

Face on. Once I had it on it's legs it had trouble staying there, I noticed it had parts of some legs missing. I put it in a safe place outside.
