A Showy Emerald caterpillar moving onto my thumbnail (head is on the left end). You can see the 3 true legs and the 2 little horns at the tail end of the caterpillar. Found on Sumac 8-24-06.

A closer look at the Showoy Emerald caterpillar moving along with back arched like an inchworm. They have one speed.......SLOW ! They move along in a drunken-like state wobbling and going very slow.
