Neutral rating By Bookerc1 on Feb 5, 2010 4:42 AM I ordered an amaryllis bulb. It was shipped in a brown paper sack inside a padded envelope, which arrived with several punctures. The bulb was large, but looked bruised. Shipping was prompt.
mhcapps's rebuttal: cutomer contacted me and said everything went well, softball size armaryllis bulbs are very hardy and I have shipped hundreds this way and never had a problem.
Caution By marie_kap on Apr 1, 2010 12:09 PM I got my shipment in brown paper bags also with no extra wrapping to keep in moisture. They are dried up and look dead. Lynn was nice to refund my money and I shipped them back.
mhcapps's rebuttal: dormant rhizomes look dead, for those who have never dealt with them. They are sprouting nicely in my garden now.
