Caption: This is the same place on the 31st of July 2002, isn't it nice what a year can do??

I got rid of the scrap-heap, of course, and built a flower bed there. That is a large hydrangea which I saved from a derelict garden, and I thought it was good as dead till it just started growing again.

The bed to the right of it has Lilies, Peony and Phlox.

The stairs have terracotta square pots with Large-Faced Begonias, Dahlias, Day Lilies, and Amaryllis.

The bed front right has various Roses, Anemones, and ground covers.

The curved bed was almost completely washed out by the recent rain, but the Wisteria, Lavatera, Geraniums, and the Rose Heritage survived.

Below the camera is a bed with Budleija, Astilben, Hydrangea and Phlox.... plus a ground cover or two.

Standing proudly in the centre is my Brug.

This is my wee 1 year old paradise.
