| Carnegiea Species Carnegiea gigantea I raise the saguaro inside as I live in Oregon. I have plants that I raised from seed that are 8 years old. The tallest one is 2 1/2". The widest one is 1 1/2". I have some two years old 1/4" x 1/4" and some one year old at 1/8" x 1/8". The young ones need watering at least once a week and do best in north side windows.
