Lily (Oxblood/School House Lily) Rhodophiala bifida
While weeding our front flower bed this late summer, we discovered some bulbs that neither one of us could identify nor, remember what they could possibly be. We immediately planted these bulbs in planting containers to discover within a caring week they were our famous “Oxblood Lilies”. Alzheimer’s certainly has it benefits for me. We so easily forget about them until they pop up during our fall rainy season. Since there hasn’t been the rain we needed this fall to see most of them come up like they do in our wet fall months, I was glad to have separated and put some bulbs to the side.
