| Albuca Species Ornithogalum longibracteatum I got my "mother" plant from an old lady that lives down the street from me, she had know idea what it was. She just called it an "Onion" plant when she gave me a baby. I have returned the gesture and have given the "babies" from my "mother" plant to my friends and they all seem to like it's exotic looking 2'-3' long flowering stem. I have my "mother" in a 6" terracotta clay pot and it does very well in it. It seems to like "light" miracle-grow fertilizer; I use 2 tea spoons per gallon of water about once a month, depending on how it's been growing. I let the water i use set out for 24 hours to let the chlorine evaporate so the leaves won't die back as easily.
