| Polyantha Rose Rosa We collected our first Perle D'Or specimens as cuttings from a cemetery plant. In my experience, it roots readily from cuttings. It is extremely tough and disease-tolerant even here in East Tennessee, where we get about 51 inches of rain per year. In other words, anything that's blackspot susceptible will die here without spraying. We lost those plants when we moved, and last week I ordered two new ones from Secret Garden Growers in Oregon. The plants--good-sized rooted cuttings with a lot of foliage and even a couple of buds--arrived in good shape, although the foliage looks a bit pale. Probably needs some nitrogen. | 'Perle d'Or' | Plants | (PlantFiles) |
