Lamiaceae chocolate mint
This is an easily spreading, glossy dark green mint that makes a lovely groundcover. It will also grow in shade. It smells divine when you walk on it. Takes all kinds of abuse, spreads nicely but not as aggressively as some mints. Makes a nice tea, liqueur or flavoring. Pretty plants aren't as leggy as other mints. Negligible flowers.
