| Vachellia Species Acacia choriophylla Very hard seeds require pre-treatment by deeply scuffing along an edge, with sandpaper and then dropping into about a half inch of just boiled water in something like a small coffee cup. Allow a 24 hour soak and then plant in heat sterilized loose medium, like sawdust or fine wood shavings. Germination often visibly occurs after just two or three days. Transplant when woody tissue is visible on the tiny "trunk" of the seedling, usually a couple or three months later. Good luck to all. | Seeds | (PlantFiles) |
